The MN high temperature pressure sensor for plastic extrusion and injection moulding processes is available in ranges from 35 up to 2000 bar (500 to 30000 psi) and has an internal amplifier for generating a 5 or 10 volt output signal.

The flush isolation diaphragm in contact with the media is made from 15-5PH stainless steel (17-7PH <100bar)and is coated with a GTP coating for high resistance against corrosion, abrasion and high temperature.

A choice of rigid and flexible stem lengths can be specified to suit any installation on plastic machinery. The MN plastic melt pressure transducer can also measure the process temperature if the thermocouple option is selected.

An Autocompensation option for the MN plastic injection pressure sensor is available for improving thermal zero drift caused by expansion of the capillary fill fluid over the temperature range +20 to +400 DegC.
