Silicon Pressure Sensors

Pressure transducers & pressure transmitters with silicon strain gauge sensing diaphragms which have output signals with good linearity, hysteresis and short term repeatability.  Semiconductor pressure sensors also have high overpressure ratings and sensitivity due to the high gauge factors of the semiconductor strain gauges.

High precision pressure transducer with an accuracy of 0.05% full scale including temperature errors over +10 to +40 deg C. Available in pressure ranges from 1 to 1000 bar gauge or absolute with a RS485 digital interface plus an optional USB or RS232 converter cable for connecting to a desktop or laptop PC.

The output signal is accurate to 0.1% of base range or 0.5% with a 10:1 turn-down, and a 14 bit analogue to digital conversion provides a high resolution amplified output. Pressure ranges from 0-100mbar up to 0-1000bar gauge or absolute. The silicon sensing chip is totally isolated from the media by an oil filled stainless steel 316L capsule with isolation membrane. This sensor is ideally suited for high frequency response applications since the output is only limited by the natural response of the silicon sensing capsule.
