718 Portable Pressure Calibrator with Integral Hand Pump

Portable Pressure calibrator with a built-in pneumatic hand pump for ranges 70 mbar, 2, 7 or 20 bar gauge which can calibrate to an accuracy of 0.05% full scale. The 718 pressure calibrator is handheld and battery powered for convenient testing and calibration of pressure transmitters, switches and gauges.

The 718 portable pressure calibrator is compatible with a complete set of external pressure pressure sensor modules which extend the measurement range down as low as 2.5 mbar and as high as 700 bar for measuring differential, gauge and absolute pressure ranges.

The integral pneumatic calibration hand-pump of the 718 portable pressure calibrator will also generate vacuum pressures down to -850 mbar for calibrating compound and suction pressure ranges. A volume adjuster is located alongside the coarse hand pump for fine adjustment of calibration setpoints so that pressures can be applied with minimal overshoot. To reduce contamination and increase service life of the hand pumpm, two in-line check valves have been included which prevent process residues being drawn back inside the pump manifold. The check valves are also easily servicable via direct access to the underside of the calibrator.

The 718 portable pressure calibrator includes a current loop meter plus a 24 volt power supply for measuring the output of pressure transmitters. There is an input for pressure switches which enables the user to capture the pressure on the display of the opening and closing points which is particularly useful for checking hysteresis.

The accessories included with the 718 portable pressure calibrator are banana plug test leads with crocodile clips, protective yellow rubber holster, 2 9 volt batteries, in-line filter and user manual on CD Rom.
