The DMP 331 hazardous area absolute pressure transmitter has a silicon piezoresistive sensing element with a vacuum reference trapped on the reverse side of the silicon chip which provides an absolute pressure reference. The Silicon is hermetically sealed inside an oil filled capsule with a convoluted isolation membrane to facilitate the transfer of pressure to the sensing element.
The 4 to 20mA output signal of the DMP331 IS absolute pressure transmitter has been ATEX approved for use use in hazardous areas where flammable gases could be present.
The DMP-331 ATEX absolute pressure sensor has a variety of configurations with all welded wetted parts, semi-flush diaphragm, process style electronics housing and IP68 buccaneer connector.
