Product Description

The EPIH ultra miniature cylindrical pressure transducer has a minute exposed silicon chip strain gauge diaphragm which makes it possible to produce extremely small diameter pressure sensors and achieve very high frequency response to the dynamic changes in pressure.

The basic construction consists of a silicon chip set flush on the front end of a metal body with epoxy, wire connections plus the vented reference (gauge ranges only) are made on the reverse of the sensing diaphragm and exit via the back end of the metal tube.
