Brackish Water IP68 Depth and Level Sensors

Select options for sensor housing material on IP68 rated transmitters and transducers suitable for use with tidal and coastal sea water.  Choose a compatible sensor for longer life performance against saline liquid corrosion.

Economical IP68 protected sensor with stainless steel 316L housing and Ceramic strain gauge sensing diaphragm for measuring liquid depth pressure or the pressure in a submerged pipe or vessel. Measure hydrostatic pressure from from 0 to 10 mWC (33 ftWC) up to 0 to 100 mWC (330 ftWc) and convert reading to a millivolt, current or voltage signal output. The Ceramic diaphragm has a high chemical resistance to media such as leachate and seawater, and the housing can be upgraded to Duplex stainless steel if necessary for extra material protection. A PUR coated cable is fitted as standard, but for additional chemical protection an FEP coated cable can be supplied.

Hydrostatic level sensor with an IP68 sealed electrical connection, stainless steel 316L, Duplex or PVC construction and a passive millivolt strain gauge output signal. Available in level ranges from 10 to 100 mWG gauge or absolute.

Marine approved level transmitter with 4-20mA current loop output for measuring the level of contents inside a ships ballast, fuel, liquid cargo or wastewater tanks with optional all CuNiFe construction for sea-water compatibility in ranges from 0.4 mH2O to 200mH2O gauge or absolute.

IP68 mid range pressure transmitter for measuring the level of highly contaminated and agressive liquid media with a body made from PVC. Hydrostatic ranges from 4 mWC up to 100 mWC

IP68 low range pressure transmitter for measuring the level of highly contaminated and agressive liquid media with a body made from PP (Polypropylene) or PVDF. Hydrostatic level ranges from 0.4 up to 100 metres of water column.

SDI-12 protocol transducer for sensing water depth level and temperature in seawater, brackish water, tidal water, saline water or leachate. The digital interface conforms to the requirements of the SDI12 support group and can be used with environment monitoring equipment which supports the SDI12 digital communications interface. A high corrosion resistant ceramic diaphragm is fitted a standard and stainless steel 316L, Duplex or Marine Bronze housing materials can be chosen to suit the application requirements. Measure salt water depth in the ranges starting from 0-10 metres up to 0-100 metres, including absolute non-vented ranges from 1.5 bar up to 10 bar absolute.

Analogue output sensor for immersing in seawater to determine depth or change in water level by measuring hydrostatic pressure. This sea depth probe has a Marine bronze housing and Ceramic diaphragm for protection from saltwater corrosion. Select fixed ranges from 10 metres (33 feet) up to 100 metres (328 feet) depth in a number of analogue output configurations including low voltage strain gauge, amplified voltage and current loop output. Also suitable for use in brackish and inland tidal water or any other application where there is the risk of corrosion form a saline liquid.
